New Flights to Belize for 2018/19
In addition to direct flights to Belize with WestJet (Calgary and Toronto) and Air Canada (Toronto) there are a couple of new flight options for travelers in the United States, Europe and Central America:
Sun Country Airlines - Direct nonstop flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Belize
Sun Country Airlines will be offering a seasonal nonstop service to Belize starting this December 2018 from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The new service will be offered from December 22, 2018 to April 20, 2019, and will operate once a week with round trips on Saturdays. This is a great route if you live in Saskatchewan, Manitoba or Northern Ontario and want to escape the cold, long winters!
Aeromexico - Direct nonstop flight from Mexico City to Belize
Aeromexico has recently announced a seasonal twice a week, non-stop flight to Belize from Mexico City starting on 17th November 2018 to 28th April 2019. Aeromexico's flight 67 will be on Saturdays and Sundays. It will depart Mexico at 8:30 a.m and will arrive at the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport at 10:30 am. It will depart Belize at 12:00 and arrive in Mexico at 2:25 p.m.
Southwest Airlines - Direct nonstop flights to Belize from Houston, Denver and Fort Lauderdale
Southwest Airlines offer a daily, year-round non-stop flight, from Ft. Lauderdale and Houston's Hobby Airport's International Terminal to Belize. They also operate a seasonal direct flight between Denver, Colorado and Belize City. Search for fares directly on Southwest Airlines website - they often have discounted 'Wanna Get Away' fares for travel to Belize on select dates.
Tropic Air - Direct Flights from Cancun to Belize
Tropic Air has 2 daily flights from Cancun to Belize International that offer good connecting opportunities.
Seamless Flight Connections from the UK to Belize
The new AeroMexico route now provides UK and European travellers with a same-day connection to Belize. This flight has four-hour transit time in Mexico City from London Heathrow. This means that travellers from London can opt to avoid an overnight stopover via other transit locations, such as the United States.
American Airlines also offers a flight that does not require an overnight connection. This flight departs London Heathrow and has a short connection in Miami before landing in Belize City.
