Lighthouse Reef Arrival & Departure Information
The boat charter to Lighthouse Reef departs from the Belize City. We request that you check in with our Dangriga office the day before your trip by phone to confirm your arrival and rendezvous - +501-522-3328.
Rendezvous with Boat Charter
Our meeting place/time is at 8:30 am on the first day of your trip at the Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel at 2.5 mile on the Northern Highway in Belize City. Please be sure you have eaten a good breakfast before meeting us in the lobby with your packed bags. Our driver will transfer your group from here to the dock a few miles away, making a stop at a store for personal supplies along the way. Once the boat is loaded we depart Belize City, and boat past the main Barrier Reef, through Turneffe Atoll, and on towards our Basecamp on Half Moon Caye at Lighthouse Reef Marine Reserve. The transfer typically takes 2.5 hours during fair weather conditions and longer during inclement weather conditions
Return to the Mainland
We depart Half Moon Caye by boat after lunch and usually arrive back in Belize City on the mainland at approximately 4:30pm to 5:00 pm. We provide transportation back to the Biltmore Hotel.
