We are excited to announce that we are now offering Belize scuba diving packages, based on the beautiful Tobacco Caye Paradise Lodge. Join us to explore the underwater wonders of the Belize Barrier Reef.

Tobacco Caye Paradise is located on a palm-fringed five-acre islet in the South Water Caye Marine Reserve and is an offshore wonderland for divers, snorkelers, and kayakers.

Accommodation is provided in private over the water beach which all face north to the Belize Barrier Reef and have wonderful decks perched over turquoise tropical waters.

The scuba diving packages depart every Wednesday and can be booked year-round, based on lodge availability at Tobacco Caye Paradise. The scuba diving packages include accommodation, meals, guided activities, scuba gear, activity equipment, all government taxes and park fees.

Belize Scuba Diving Package Details

The 3-Night Belize Scuba Diving Package includes a dive at the Tobacco Caye cut and South Water Caye. For the 4-Night Dive package, this includes a dive at Glover’s Reef Atoll including the spectacular “Western Wall” of the Belize Barrier Reef.

Here is a sample itinerary for our Belize Scuba Diving Vacation Packages: 

Day 1:
 
Arrive at the Riverside Café in Dangriga. Look for a boat captain to carry you to Tobacco Caye (arrive between 9 am to 1 pm - transfer not included in the package). After a half-hour ride into the South Water Caye Marine Reserve, travelling through several islands and mangrove estuaries, you arrive at Tobacco Caye Paradise on the edge of the Belize Barrier Reef. After receiving an island welcome from your host and settling into your accommodations, we meet in the middle of the hammock garden for a briefing for the next days’ dives.

Day 2: 

This morning we rise early with the tropical sun. Relax with your fresh coffee in your hammock before the day's adventures begin. Shortly after breakfast, we meet at the dive shop for equipment fitting, our dive brief, and the final muster for our 9:30 am boat departure. Our first introductory dive on the Belize Barrier Reef will check out our ability level and make sure our equipment is fitted properly. We return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta. Then we meet at the hammock garden for our next briefing before heading out to our afternoon dive outside the Tobacco Caye Cut. We return to the lodge for dinner and head to the sunset bar next door to toast the day!

Day 3: 

Today is another early start, after our morning meal we meet at the Dive Center for our day’s briefing. Our dive location this day is further afield towards South Water Caye. Travelling 6 miles along the crystal turquoise waters of the Belize Barrier Reef, we arrive at South Water Caye. We turn the corner through the cut and dive the outer reef wall. After our morning dive, we have a picnic lunch on a sandbar. Following a short stop at Carrie Bow Caye (the Smithsonian Marine Station), we head out for our afternoon dive. After reaching topside, we travel back north to Tobacco Caye to shower off and clean up for dinner.

For those participating in the 3-Night Program, this morning we have a leisurely breakfast and a last walk around the island. Boats back to the island run every morning starting at 9 am (transfer not included in the package).

Day 4: 

Today we rise for an early breakfast and prepare to head out to one of Belize’s most spectacular dive locations, Glovers Reef Atoll. After a quick dock briefing, we travel to one of Belize’s most remote reef systems. The boat slows as we approach the turquoise horizon and we suit up to dive the east reef wall facing the open pelagic sea. After returning to the surface, we have a picnic lunch on a secluded private beach on the southern tip of the Atoll. Following lunch, we head westward to dive the spectacular “Western Wall” of the Barrier Reef. We then return to Tobacco Caye for a pre-dinner Happy Hour and toast the sun going down for our last night.

Day 5:

For those participating in the 4-Night Program, this morning we have a leisurely breakfast and a last walk around the island. Boats back to the island run every morning starting at 9 am (transfer not included in the package).
