I hate wind. It's annoying, relentless, and makes eating anything without getting hair in your mouth near impossible. But add a sail to a sea kayak on a breezy day and suddenly I'm ok with it. 🛶 We paddled out about an hour to go snorkel and then sailed back to our island. What a blast to be so close to the water and see rays and sharks swimming while we zoomed along! Captain Robert didn't even capsize us once. I think I'll keep him. 😉

Feature Friday: Belize 🇧🇿- a paradise for adventure travellers! Back in 2016 (before #momlife) I went on a sea kayaking trip in beautiful Belize, home of the world’s second biggest coral reef. I paddled from Belize City to Dangriga, over sharks, rays and turtles. ☀️🦈 There are clear blue skies, turquoise waters and stretches of white sand. But it’s adventure, conservation and environmental awareness that make Belize a unique destination.
