Belize Launches Digital Immigration & Customs System
Streamlined Travel for a Seamless Belizean Adventure
Belize is making travel easier and more convenient with its new Digital Immigration and Customs Declaration System—designed to make your journey smooth and stress-free!
A Seamless Transition to Digital
Starting December 1, 2024, the system will be available for arrivals and departures through the Philip Goldson International Airport. During a three-month phased rollout, travelers can choose between digital and traditional paper forms. This hybrid approach ensures a smooth transition while the system is fine-tuned based on user feedback.
By January 1, 2025, the platform will be extended to all ports of entry, marking a complete shift to a fully digital process for Belize. This aligns with the government’s broader efforts to modernize travel procedures, emphasizing efficiency, data accuracy, and sustainability.
Why Choose the Digital Option?
• Ease of Use: Access and complete the required forms online before you travel, saving valuable time at entry and exit points.
• Faster Processing: Digital submissions reduce wait times, allowing you to move quickly through immigration and customs.
• Eco-Friendly: Embracing paperless processes reflects Belize’s commitment to environmental sustainability, benefiting both travelers and the planet.
Travelers are encouraged to visit the user-friendly web portal at Belize Digital Forms to complete their forms in advance. Feedback on the system is welcomed during this transition phase, supporting continual improvements.
A Gateway to Adventure in Time for Peak Season
This digital initiative comes just in time for Belize’s bustling peak tourism season. Whether you’re embarking on a Lighthouse Reef Adventure, paddling along Glover’s Reef, or hiking through the Mayflower Bocawina National Park, the streamlined travel process ensures more time spent enjoying Belize’s breathtaking attractions.
