Belize saw some exciting new direct flight routes open up in 2016/2017, making getting to and from this beautiful Central American destination easier than ever. Visitors from North America can now take advantage of more direct flights to Belize from major hubs including Toronto, Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Denver. From Europe, you can now fly from London Heathrow to Belize with just a short connection in Miami, eliminating the need for an overnight layover.

Air Canada - New Direct Nonstop Flight from Toronto to Belize
Great news for Canadians travelling south this winter! Air Canada has recently announced that they will be offering a direct flight from Toronto to Belize starting on December 15, 2017. The flight will depart from Toronto Pearson International Airport at 9:40 am and arriving at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport, Belize at 1:15 pm. The return flight will depart Belize at 2:15 pm and arrive at Toronto Pearson International Airport at 7:30 pm. This new route to Belize will operate seasonally from December through April. WestJet - Direct Nonstop Flight from Toronto to Belize
WestJet began offering a direct flight between Toronto and Belize, two days per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays for the winter of 2016/17. This seasonal route will resume on November 1, 2017, and end on April 25, 2018. For more information or to book flights, please visit WestJet.
Southwest Airlines - Direct Nonstop Flight from Fort Lauderdale to Belize
A new direct flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Belize was introduced by Southwest Airlines on June 4, 2017. Connecting to and from cities in the eastern half of the United States such as Baltimore, New York, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa and Washington DC will now be easier. Southwest Airlines - Direct Nonstop Flight from Houston and Denver to Belize
Earlier in 2017, Southwest Airlines announced a new seasonal direct flight between Denver, Colorado and Belize City, Belize. This new direct flight will operate during the winter.
Southwest Airlines now offers a nonstop flight to Belize from Houston's Hobby Airport's International Terminal. With this flight, you can also take advantage of connecting service through Houston from Chicago (Midway), Dallas (Love Field), Denver, Los Angeles (LAX), New Orleans, Oakland, San Antonio and San Diego.

American Airlines - London to Belize Flight with No Overnight Connection
American Airlines now offers a flight that will eliminate the need to have an overnight connection in the US for travellers. Currently, visitors from Europe cannot travel to Belize in the same day. The new flight will depart London Heathrow and offer a short connection in Miami before landing in Belize City. The new flight will run year-round. The outbound flight will operate four days per week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and the inbound flights will operate daily.
