Southwest Airlines - New Non-Stop Service to Belize and Special Fares
For many of our US guests the news that Southwest Airlines will be offering nonstop flights to Belize will be a reason to celebrate. Southwest has a loyal following of passengers and is known for its 'low fares don't mean low service' concept. Even with the sale fares you can still check two bags for free and reuse your fare for future travel within 1 year should you need to cancel.
Houston’s Hobby Airport has a brand new International Terminal which is scheduled to open on October 15, 2015 and Southwest Airlines will be offering daily nonstop flights to Belize City.
Not only is there a new nonstop service from Houston (Hobby) to Belize, but you can also take advantage of connecting service through Houston from Chicago (Midway), Dallas (Love Field), Denver, Los Angeles (LAX), New Orleans, Oakland, San Antonio, San Diego, and many others that are serviced by Southwest.
Belize Airfare Deals
With the new direct service coming on board, there are some great specials in the works for travel to Belize. We searched on the Southwest Airlines Promotions Page and found fares from Houston (Hobby), TX to Belize City, Belize starting at $127 USD one-way, including taxes.
These sales fares need to be booked by October 8 and are valid for travel from October 13 through December 16, 2015 and January 11 through March 3, 2016. Please note that restrictions and exclusions apply and the fares are non-refundable.
We checked the website for flights in December and found round trip fares for $300.25 USD including all taxes. Average fares from Houston to Belize are usually around $550 USD. This would be for travel on Saturday December 12 and returning Friday December 18. These dates work perfectly with our Paradise Islands trip special departing on December 12.
